An opportunity for an an emerging flash fiction writer


Are you an emerging flash fiction writer? If so, this could be an opportunity for you.

The winner of the Kathy Fish Fellowship 2017 will act as a writer-in-residence, with their flash fiction appearing in every issue of the literary magazine SmokeLong Quarterly next year.

The successful writer will receive a total remuneration of US$500; $100 per story plus $100 when the fellowship is announced.

Writers must be over 18, have not yet published a book-length or chapbook-length work and have not been previously published in SmokeLong Quarterly.

The deadline is 15th September.
