Market research for authors

Editing_and_Proofreading Blog_353When you think you have a totally original idea, how do you make sure? How do you find out if someone else has got there first?

Market research is an essential part of your process. Some people think they don’t need to do it, because they know their own market. They think that if it were out there, they would have seen it.
